Mary Kruchkas, 91, widow of the late John Kruchkas , died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at home. She was born in Phoenixville to the late Clarence and the late Alice (Burton) Winters. After attending Phoenixville High School, Mary worked as a supervisor for Pennhurst State School. Mary was former President of the AFSCME 886 and was an active member and held various leadership positions in the Retired Public Employees Association. She loved the Girl Scout program and was a Brownie Leader. She is survived by one daughter: Mary Ann, wife of John Zimmer of Warminster, PA. Sons: David W., wife Susan of Boyertown, Richard E. wife Linda of Schwenksville, and Phillip Porter, wife Denise of Perryville, MD.Also 28 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. And predeceased by daughter: Margaret Brenner. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Royersford Church of The Nazarene, 445 Washington Street, Royersford with the Rev. Larry Powell officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00AM to 10:00AM Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Limerick Garden Of Memories in Limerick.
