For as long as I can remember Mrs. Algeo was my nurse growing up. It seemed as though everywhere I went she was the one taking care of my sister and I. Starting with Dr. G, and at church which also included vacation bible school, and camp Swatara. My other memories center around our Halloween traditions, and her Halloween traditions. Every year, until my sister and I decided we were too old to dress up, my father would drive us around different neighborhoods for trick or treat. Mrs Algeo prided herself on knowing exactly who my father was no matter what his costume happened to be that year.
Mrs. Algeo lived her life making sure the people around her were always happy and cared for. Mrs Algeo was in heaven living here on earth, and made me feel the same way. I never told her, but I think she knows I love her.
