Obituary of Dena Michelle Ewing

Dena Michelle Ewing, 46, Royersford Dena Michelle Ewing, 46, wife of the late Timothy Tankersley, died Tuesday at her home in Royersford. She was born in Pensacola, Florida, a daughter to loving parents Richard and Diane (Hoover) Ewing. Dena lived most of her life in Spring City and Royersford. She was a 1986 graduate of Spring Ford High School and was a member of the Liberty Fire Company, Spring City, Friendship Hook and Ladder in Royersford, but most of all Dena was a loving and caring mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Dena is survived by her twin children, Daughter: Taylor Nicole and Son: Tyler Nathaniel also sister: DeAnna Mist Ewing and step-siblings Debbie Longenberger and Barbie Ewing. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews. Dena will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Dena's Life on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City. Her burial will be private. Visitation will be held Saturday morning in the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gift may be made in her memory to the Dena Ewing Memorial Fund c/o Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust.
