Charles F Mather, 82, Royersford Charles F Mather, 82, beloved husband of the late Joan (Doyle) Mather of Royersford died Wednesday December 31, 2014 in the Sanatoga Center. He was born in Helfenstein, PA a son to the late James and Alice (Stitzer) Mather. Charles was a graduate of Ashland High School. He was employed for over forty years as a machine operator for the former Container Corp. in Oaks until his retirement. He also worked part-time for Maple Lawn Auction for many years. Charles enjoyed bowling, playing cards especially pinochle and was an avid Eagles, Phillies and Flyers Fan. He is survived by daughter: Deborah Weaver of Pottstown, sons: Chuck Mather of Pottstown and Mark Mather of Royersford. And granddaughter: Jennifer Weaver, and great grandson: Luke Romano. And a sister: Grace Cowie of OH. He is predeceased by a daughter: Patricia Mather and sisters: Gladys Hardnock, Almeda Keller, Irene Maurer and Loretta Cross and brothers: Paul and Bob Mather, and John Weikel and Robert Rabuck. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside funeral service at 1:00 pm Saturday Jan. 10, 2015 in Fernwood Cemetery, 988 Walnut Street, Royersford with the Reverend Jack A. Mason officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in his memory to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org or PO Box 5018 Hagerstown MD 21741.
