Obituary of Richard C. Sabbi

Richard C. Sabbi, age 69, beloved husband of Jane (Davis) Sabbi of East Vincent Township, died on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
Born in West Chester, Richard was the son to the late Joseph and Anna (Matta) Sabbi. He was raised in Devault and has resided in East Vincent Township for the past thirty seven years. Richard was a 1964 graduate of Great Valley High School. He was employed as a machine operator/adjuster at Graphic Packaging in Malvern for forty years until his retirement. Richard was a member of Robwood Lodge and Renwick 7 Lodge in Bradford County, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed boating and fishing at White House Beach in Delaware. While home, he enjoyed yard work (especially mowing his grass), watching the deer in the backyard, and most importantly, spending precious moments with his grandchildren and family.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by daughters: Melissa, wife of Dave Bechtel of Pottstown; Gina Sabbi of Fleetwood; Jennifer, wife of Andy Shaner of Birdsboro. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Gavin and Sydney, who were his pride and joy.
He is also survived by: a sister, Joanna (Sabbi) Donnon of Pottstown and brothers: Edward Sabbi of Phoenixville and Eugene Sabbi of Sadsburyville. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Sabbi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12 noon at Faith Baptist Church, 1015 Livingston Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, 19460. Pastor Jack Tomkinson will be officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the Memorial Service at Faith Baptist Church from 11am to 12 noon.
