Stanley J. Pisarek, Sr., 93. husband of Helen (Baczor) Pisarek, died on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Southeastern Veterans Center, Spring City. Born in Swedesburg, Mr. Pisarek was the son of the late Peter Pisarek and the late Josephine Pisarek. Mr. Pisarek graduated from Upper Merion High School. Stanley and Helen were married for years and lived in Linfield. Mr. Pisarek was a member of the Blessed Theresa Calcutta Church in Linfield. He had been employed by the former Dana Corporation. He was also a veteran of the US Army having served during World War II in both the European and Pacific Theaters. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Stanley J. Pisarek, Jr. of Linfield, PA . He was predeceased by a daughter, Jean Bowman, a sister Irene Pisarek, a brother, Chester Pisarek and a grandson, Randy Bowman. His funeral mass will be celberated at Blessed Theresa of Calcutta Church, 1228 Main St., Linfield on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Paul Brandt will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. Burial will follow immediately in the St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Buchert Rd., Pottstown, PA. mass cards will be accepted.
