Obituary of Marcia C Huke

Marcia C. Huke (formerly Kulp), 58, of Spring City, died January 5, 2010, in Phoenixville Hospital. She has now gone on in peace to be with her Lord and Savior. Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Joyce (Shelly) Kulp, and sister to the recently late Lori P. Clarke. Marcia graduated from Spring-Ford High School class of 1970. Marcia was a lifetime member of Spring City Faith Bible Fellowship Church, where she was often found assisting in the Nursery tending to the Infants; as well as, she loved to sing in the Church Choir. She most recently worked at the Sanatoga Manor as a Dietary Technician until 2005. Prior to that, she worked as a Private Duty Nurse amongst various homes, as a Nurse at Manatawny Manor, and as a Nurse at the former Pennhurst Facility in Spring City, PA. She loved adventure, hot air balloons, traveling, bowling, boats, Cape May, dolphins, airplanes, her father's lodge, sewing, reading, knickknacks, and she loved her cats and dogs very much. She had a huge heart and always put other's before herself. Her family and friends were her life and soul and she was a strong devoted support rock and caretaker for many. She is survived by her husband, Arthur J. Huke of Spring City, one step-daughter, Crystal A. (Huke) Scott, wife of Michael D. Scott, Limerick; two step-grandchildren, Emily Ruth Scott and David Austin Scott; one sister Melodie (Kulp) Owings and her husband Allan, Milwaukie, Ore; one brother Dwayne Kulp and his wife Kathy, Spring City, two sister in laws, Dorothy (Huke) Greto and her husband Bill, Wilmington, DE and Barbara (Huke) Wood, Chichester, PA. She is further survived by her family being her Aunt Christine Kulp, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Jan Kulp, Step-Mother Greta (Bauer) Kulp, her lifetime best friend Mrs. Veronica Buckwalter, and an extensive tight nit family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews all of whom were very special to her. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service to be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at the Spring City Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 25 Pennhurst Road, Spring City, PA. On Tuesday at the church, open visiting hours to pay respects to the family will be from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The Memorial Service at the church will be from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Rev. Kevin Clineff will be officiating. Interment will be private. Cards and Memorial Contributions may be forwarded to Mrs. Crystal Scott, 30 King Way, Limerick, PA, 19468, for further distribution.
