June L (Hunsberger) Schaeffer, 88, loving wife of the late Robert S. Schaeffer, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Manatawny Manor. She was born in Royersford to the late Carl and the late Helena (Vinita) Hunsberger. She had been a resident of the Royersford, Spring City area all her life. June had been an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She had also been a member of the Spring Ford Historical Society and the Ladies Auxillary #602 of the Spring City Legion. She was a warm, loving and caring individual who touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by family, extended family and friends. June is survived by one brother Willard Hunsberger of Royersford and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two sisters, Gwendolyn Swartley and Arlene Kirby and one brother, William Carl Hunsberger. Her funeral service will be held on _____________ at 11:30 a.m. at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge & Church Sts., Spring City. The Reverend Richard Mathisen will officiate. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be from 10-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial conributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Rd., Spring City, PA 19475. Online tributes may be made at sgsfuneralhome.com
