Beatrice Bean, 97, Royersford Beatrice Bean, 97, widow of Jospeh Bean, died Saturday in The Phoenixville Hospital. She was born in Cape May Court House, New Jersey, to the late Jacob and the late Clara (Allenbach) Gerges. Beatice lived most of her life in Royersford, and was a 1936 graduate of Royersford High School. An avid homemaker, she enjoyed gardening, needlework, crossword puzzles, and playing the piano. She also was an integral part of Bean's Lumber yard. Beatrice is survived by her children, Judith C. wife of Donald R. Sheetz of Royersford, Marilyn B. wife of the late James Knight of Pottstown, and Sharon L. Grant of Gainsville, Florida; her brothers, Daniel, Linwood, and Paul; five grand children, a great grandson, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend her memorial services on Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 11:00 Am at Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Rd, Spring City, PA with The Reverend Paul Townsend officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 23 from 10 to 11 AM at the church.
