Donald R. ("Dink") Sheetz, age 76, of Royersford, PA passed away suddenly on February 15, 2016 at Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Malvern, PA to the late Samuel B. and Kathryn (Frank) Sheetz. He attended Phoenixville Schools, worked at the JR Hollingsworth Company and retired as President and General Manager of the family lumber and millwork business. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Judith (Bean) Sheetz and his daughters, Karen D. wife of Darrell E. Lewis and Barbara J. fiancee of Michael Kreider. Also surviviing is his brother L. James Sheetz of Malvern, PA and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his four sisters: Gladys Hendricks, Elizabeth (Betty) Cauler, Doris Bauer, and Virginia (Jean) Thornburg. He was a member and former President of the Royersford Lyons Club where he was also a Melvin Jones Fellow. He was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church. Bowling, puzzles and card playing were among the things that filled his retirement days. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his faithful buddy, Virgil Emswiler. A memorial service will be held at Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral home on February 27, 2016 at 11:00 with the Rev. Jannelle Krais, officiating. A visititation will be held prior to the service beween 10:00 - 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
