Terry J Schaeffer, 59 of Parkerford, lost his long battle with cancer March 13, 2016 in his home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of Alice Schaeffer and the late John Schaeffer. Terry resided in Parkerford most of his life and graduated from Northern Chester County Technical School. He worked for Twin County Construction and briefly at A C Miller Concrete. Terry was a lifetime member of the Pottstown Quoit Club and a member of the American-Italian Bocce Club of Royersford. Terry is survived by his sister, Shirl, wife of Dennis Flasher, Spring City, brother Donny, husband of Coleen Schaeffer, Pottstown, brother Rick, husband of Barb Schaeffer, Parkerford, sister Kim Schaeffer, spouse of Michele Spangler, Pottstown, and his cousin and best bud, Lisa Platt. He was loved by his 7 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. Terry enjoyed the simple things in life including camping, boating, grilling and partying with his friends! The family would like to invite all his friends to celebrate his life at 1:00 on Saturday March 19th, at the Schaeffer homestead in Parkerford.
