Alice J. Myers, 69, Harleysville Alice J. Myers, 69, loving wife of Robert M. Myers died Monday March 14, 2016 after a long battle with cancer in Grandview Hospital. Born in Norristown to the late Samuel F. and Emma Jane (Groff) Henschel. Alice spent most of her life in the Royersford area. Alice had a variety of duties for Superior Tube of Collegeville where she retired after 29 years. She loved photography and travel. She was blessed to travel with Robert all over the United States, Mexico and Europe. In addition to her husband, Alice leaves behind her mother, Emma Henschel; two brothers: John S. Henschel and Ervin R. Henschel; two sons: R. Mark Myers, Jr. (wife, Patricia) of N. Coventry and David A. Myers (wife, Lorraine) of Royersford, and six grandchildren: Austin, Julie, Alec, Elisabeth, Allison and Emma. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday March 21, 2016 in the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks. With Rev. Dr. David Leiter officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30AM to 11:00AM Monday at the Green Tree Church of the Brethren, 1078 Egypt Road, Oaks, PA. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or Green Tree Church of the Brethren.
