Russell W. "Sonny" Christman, age 69 of Spring City died Thursday in the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was born in Phoenixville a son of the late Russell E. and the late Ann (Stevens) Christman. Mr. Christman was a 1959 graduate of Spring Ford High School; he was veteran of the United States Army. He was employed for many years with the family business in Phoenixville Chrisman's Seafood. He enjoyed sports and loved deep sea fishing in Cape May. He was also a member of the Spring Cit United Methodist Church. Survived by three sons: Stephen, Joseph and Russell Christman and sisters: Betty Jean Bartlow and Patricia Bari and Brother Robert Christman. And best friend George Leighton. His memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday March 16, 2010 at 11am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home. His burial will be private for the family in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
