Joseph D. Nesspor, Sr., 79, of Royersford, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at his winter home in Bradenton, FL. Born December 24, 1936 in Phoenixville, PA, he was predeceased by his parents Stephen Nesspor and Sophie A. (Fidyk) Nesspor. He was a 1954 graduate of Phoenixville High School. He was a Union Carpenter with the Local 1595 of Norristown, PA for 41 years and also worked for 17 years at Elmer Haines Sunoco in Royersford, PA. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Royersford. He also was a member of the Lancaster Coin Club. He enjoyed traveling, working on cars, helping family and friends with carpentry work and coin collecting. Joseph is survived by his wife Josephine A. (DePaoli) and 4 sons, Michael J., (David Blackwell) of New York City, Stephen M., (Melinda Almond) of West Lawn, PA, Joseph D. Nesspor, Jr. of Royersford, and Christopher M., (Nicole Ricci) of Chalfont, PA. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Rylan A. Nesspor of West Lawn, PA and Joshua D. Nesspor of Denver, CO, his brothers Stephen W. (Rose DiBussolo) of Norristown, PA, William H. (Elizabeth Smith) of Syracuse, NY, Richard A. (Monica Robish) of Marietta, GA and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive condolences at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Royersford, on Friday, April 29, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a mass of Christian Burial. Directly following mass, interment will be at Limerick Memorial Gardens, Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Joseph’s memory to your favorite charity.
