Arlene Mae Landes, 85, Royersford
Arlene Mae Landes, 85, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Phoenixville Hospital.
She was born in Pottstown to the late William and Mary (Miller) Kulp. Arlene was raised in Limerick and was a _____ graduate of _________________ High School. She met David in _____ and was happily married for _______ years. She was a lifetime member of Royersford United Church of Christ where she was a faithful Sunday School teacher, participated in the choir, and was the financial secretary of the church. Arlene loved crossword puzzles and other games. She was an avid reader and had a gift for hospitality and was a great cook.
She was a homemaker and dedicated to her family, she even was a member of the Mingo Homemakers Club. Her dedication to her family is seen in the lives she leaves behind. In addition to her loving husband, David, Arlene leaves behind her three beautiful children: D. Jeffrey Landes, (Nancy) of Sanatoga, Craig Landes (Craig Wojciekofsky) of Albany, NY and Bruce (Karen) of Henniker, NH.; two sisters: Mary Louise Schaeffer, Leslie Kelius, six grand children: Michael, Benjamin, Eric, Dana, Zeke and Blair and two great grandchildren: Ethan and Olivia.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Royersford United Methodist Church,380 church St. Royersford, PA, the Rev. _____________ preciding. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 at the church. A private interment will be later at the request of the family.
