Shirley Ann (Yednock) DiGiacomo, 69, beloved wife of Robert DiGiacomo died Sunday in the Phoenixville Hospital. She was born in Phoenixville to the late Thomas Yednock and Marge (Allie) Yednock of Royersford. Shirley resided all of her life in Phoenixville, she attended the former Sacred Heart Elementary School and was a 1965 graduate of Phoenixville High School. She was a waitress at the former “Trio” Restaurant for many years, she then worked Control Data for many years, and finally a clerk at the Gateway Pharmacy. Shirley enjoyed watching football and ice hockey; and love to travel. In addition to her husband of 45 years, she is survived by her mother, Marge Yednock, three sisters, Margaret “Bunny”, wife of John DiGiacomo of Royersford, Lois, wife of Roy Hunsicker of Limerick, and Terri, wife of William Righter of Plymouth Township, and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11:00 AM, Thursday 1/12/17 at St. Mary the Assumption Church, 212 Dayton St., Phoenixville, PA 19460, with The Rev. John Hutter officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. Burial will be held at The Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville immediately following. Memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the American Diabtes Association 150 Monument Rd. Suite 100 Bala Cynwyd PA19004.
