I just read about Donna's passing tonight. I am at a total loss for words and am devastated. I don't get on Facebook much anymore and have been dealing with issues with my elderly mother out of state. I met Donna when I went to work with Kaye at the Electric Foodservice Council. I know Donna and I were quite the handful! Donna had a smile and laugh that could light up a room. Just last night I ran across a box of old pictures that Donna had taken of me at work in Clayton. I was going to post them and tag her on Facebook. Donald, Lauren, Kaye, Mrs. Gwen, and the rest of the family, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am sorry that I did not know sooner, but I believe I was up in Virginia dealing with my elderly mother's health issues at that time. Again, I am devastated to learn of Donna's passing..she was a dear friend to me during our time together at EFC. She was one of a kind.

So very sorry to hear this very sad news about Donna. I remember how she fought to get better no matter what was happening in her life for so many years. She loved her husband and daughter and dog with all her heart and soul. I will miss talking to her on the phone or seeing her at Target store near her house.
I just saw her not too long ago in Target and we talked for a minute. She looked like she was doing better. I was glad to see her and see how wonderful she looked. She will be in my prayers and heart. I remember our talks at work about her struggles with her health. We started walking together for a short time. It was always such a joy to hear her voice talking in the southern accent. It fascinated me hearing her speak. She had such a great sense of humor. I do wish I could have spent more time with Donna. May she now find the peace she searched for.

So so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. Gone to young. I am a cousin on the Dail side of the family. I only met Donna thru FB, email, The Stroud Genology page of our Dail side of the family. I really enjoyed her post and knowing I had a cousin out there. I did not know many of the younger Dail members because I moved from NC and a lot of my Uncle's passed away and broke the link to my heritage. I appreciated her work so very much and I am sadden by her death. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this terrible time. I feel your pain and loss.
