Carla C. Brown, 55, Shillington Carla C. Brown, wife of the late Christopher David Brown, died at Reading Hospital on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Born in Phoenixville to the late Fernley Stickland and Bonnie Dell Strickland, Carla was a 1979 graduate of Spring Ford High School. She was artistic and loved to create her own jewelry. Carla enjoyed music and was a comfort to her in her battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She loved working with people, especially in the restaurant business. Carla leaves behind her loving mother, Bonnie Strickland; two children: Heather L. Hartman (husband, Frank R.) Spring City and Chelsea A. Brown of Royersford; three grandchildren: Franklin C. Hartman, Addison L. Hartman, Landson S. Brown; brother: Mark E. Strickland (wife, Maria) New Tripoli, PA. Preceding her in death were her husband: Christopher David Brown and son: Jason Donald Brown. A memorial service will be held at the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk FH 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA 19475 on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 6:30 PM Pastor John Shantz presiding.
