Marilyn J. Wagner, 85, Pottstown Marilyn J. Wagner, 85, widow of Vernon Wagner, died Thursday, June 8, in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA. She was born in Charlestown Twp. to the late Charles and the late Helen (Hulings) Orner. She worked as a seamstress at The Pennhurst State School, and later at Vercitex. An avid homemaker, she also was the pianist/organist for the former Valley Forge Baptist Temple. She enjoyed watching tennis. Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Leah Ann Wagner of Concord, North Carolina, her brother, Gordon Orner, and her two grandchildren, Matthew Wagner and Rachael Wagner. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her son Gary Wagner Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, June 15, at 10:00 AM at The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St., Spring City, PA 19475 with The Rev. Jace Erb officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at The Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford PA following the service.
