David Wall, 69, Spring City David M. Wall, age 69 passed on Wednesday September 13 at Phoenixville Hospital. He was born on April 30, 1948 in Darby, Pa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Helen Wall and his brother John. Surviving are his son Danny, sisters Mary Cassidy, Patricia Arnold (Ed), Kathy Wall and brothers Bill and Joe (Maureen) and thirteen nieces and nephews. David was an army veteran who served 15 months in Vietnam as a member of the 82nd Airborne. He was awarded multiple purple hearts and campaign medals. He attended Kutztown State University. He was a member of the VFW Post 1564, and served as the Post Commander. He was a sponsor and volunteer at the Post's annual children's Christmas Party. David was a very generous person always willing to help those in need. He loved to travel, ski, everything Irish, and cheer for Notre Dame and Penn State. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated October 6 at 11:00 am at St Joseph Catholic Church in Spring City. The family will begin receiving guests at 9:45. Burial will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
