Nancy A. Kurtas, 84, Sanatoga Nancy Hoffman-Kurtas, 84, widow of John Kurtas, died Thursday, April 12, at home. She was born in Tyrone, PA to the late Spike and the late Dorothy Meredith, Although she lived in Sanatoga most of her life, she moved to New York City to work for Saks Fifth Avenue at the age of 16. A home health care worker, she loved socializing with her friends, animals, and reading books by Mary Higgins Clark. She was a "people" person. Nancy is survived by her four children; daughters Elizabeth Siegal (Robert) of Delaware, Lisa M. Rosetti (Frank) of Limerick, sons, William R. Hoffman of Sanatoga, and Bruce A. Hoffman; two grandchildren, Jennifer McDaniel and Nicholas Hoffman; and her two brothers Jack Meredith and Ted Meredith. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Services on Friday, April 20, at 11:00 AM, at the Shalkop Grace & Struck Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St., Spring City, PA 19475, with The Rev Jack A Mason officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.
