Kenneth W. Thompson, 67, widow of Dawn Hunsicker, died Friday November 16, 2018 in Einstein Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Edward Lee and the late Theo (Eula) Thompson. Kenny lived in Bridgeport most of his life. He attended a Private school in Camden NJ where he graduated and went into General Contracting work. He enjoyed fishing, golf and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Kenny is survived by his three children: Betsy Elizabeth Wascoe, Steven Thompson and Patrick Thompson and four step children: Alyson Hepler, Lori Howell, Paula Errington and Janice Ingram; two sisters: Linda McGlaughlin and Shirley Suma and two grandchildren. Predeceased are two brothers: Buddy Thompson and Charles Edward and Sister: Dorothy Garner. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 27 at 7 PM at the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA 19475. Friends and Family are invited to visit from 6 – 7 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to The ALS Association Gift Processing Center, PO Box 37022, Boone, IA 50037-0022.
