Obituary of Michael B. Nelligan

Michael B. Nelligan, 69, Phoenixville Michael B. Nelligan, husband of Christine Nelligan passed away, March 18, 2019 in the Seasons Hospice. One of 15 children, Mike was born January 13, 1950 to the late Clarence Joseph Nelligan and Elizabeth “Bessie” Bernsteil Klinetob. Mike enjoyed the road and driving his truck. He worked for Saladino Trucking of King of Prussia for many years. Mike was married to Christine in 2006. He spent most of his life in the Phoenixville area where he enjoyed gardening especially working on his grapevines. He loved people and was active as a baseball coach and was a social member of the Friendship Fire Company, VFW and Polish Club. It was not uncommon to hear Mike singing Elvis as he drove behind the wheel. Micheal leaves behind his loving wife, Christine, child: Michael, Grandchildren: Zachary and Felicia Nelligan and great grandchild: Sophia Kondash and five siblings: Clarence Joseph “Ditsy” Dorothy Nelligan, Helen M. “Sissy” Faust, Thomas James Nelligan, James “Snookie” “Jim” Nelligan (Gloria) and Theresa Marie “Maria” Rosario (Carlos) Several Nieces and nephews Preceded in death are the following siblings: Sisters: Elizabeth ‘Betty” “Nunnie” Nelligan Krier Mayall Lazarawicz Weaver Catherine T. “Kitty” “Dolly” Nelligan Steward Moyer Ruth Mary Layne Brothers: John Joseph “Jack” “Son” Nelligan Joseph John Nelligan William J. “Billy” Nelligan Daniel Francis “Danny” Nelligan Harry J. “Cookie” Nelligan Charles Raymond “Chuck” “Butch” Nelligan, Sr. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12 – 1 and attend a Celebration of Life ceremony at the Friendship Fire Company on April 6, 2019.
