Obituary of Evelyn Clemmer Parson

Evelyn Clemmer (Kolb) Parson, age 80, wife of the late Robert Joseph Parson went to be with the Lord on Friday mornning at her home in Oaks, PA Evelyn was born in Spring City a daugter of the late Samuel and Helen I.(Clemmer ) Longacre Kolb. She resided moat of her life in Oaks, PA. Evelyn attended Valley Forge Baptist Temple. Evelyn volunteeered with cooking for the churchs and the Oaks Fire Company, she enjoyed spending her time cooking and giving to others and serving the Lord. She is survived by three children: Daughter: Evelyn Renee Adamski of South Carolina and two sons: Robert Wendell Parson of Oaks and Glenn Joseph Parson of Pottstown, and ten grandchildren and one step grandson and one great grandchild. And four sisters: Gail,Wilma,Phyllis and Emily, and Two brothers: Linwood and Rusell. She is preceded in death by brothers: Wayne and Glenn Kolb. Relatives and frineds are invited to attend her celebration life on Tuesday Feb. 1. 2011 10:30 am at the Valley Forge Baptist Temple 616 South Trappe Road Collegeville PA 19426. The Rev. Scott Wendal officiating. Burial will be held private. The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home in Spring City is handling arrangements. On line tributes may be made at sgsfuneralhome.com
