Jacob A. Gauger III, age 82, husband of the late Edith Wilson Yeoman Gauger, died on January 1, 2011 in the Parkhouse at Providence Pointe, Royersford. He was born in Royersford a son of the late Jacob A. Gauger Jr, and Emma Mae Powell Gauger. Jake lived all of his life in Royersford; he was a veteran of the United States Army. And he was employed at the former Diamond Glass Co. in Royersford and the former Boiler Engineering Co in Phoenixville until his retirement. Jake was a life member of the Royersford VFW Post 6341 and the Liberty Fire Co. of Spring City. He is survived by three children: Margaret Clevenstine wife of John, Robert Yeoman husband of Amelia and Billie Kern wife of the late Chester. And seven step grandchildren and twenty step great grandchildren. And deceased sister: Hannah Jane Adler and deceased brother: Howard Gauger. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial are being held private at the request of the family.
