Steven Kitchen, 61, Pottstown Steven Kitchen, 61, loving husband of Mary Lou (Shupe) Kitchen, died Sunday November 11, in Manor Care - Pottstown. Steven was born in Philadelphia, PA to Richard and Marie (Kohler) Kitchen A 1969 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Steven worked as a mill wright. An avid NASCAR fan, Steven enjoyed working on cars with his sons. He also enjoyed traveling with his family. In addition to his wife and mother, Steven is survived by children Steven James "Jamie" Kitchen of Pottstown, and Kevin Michael, husband of Shannon Kitchen of Douglassville, a sister Carol Crossman of Limerick and a brother Richard Kitchen of Birdsboro; grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Chase, and Bryce, and nieces Carol Marie Crossman and Leanna Zerr, and Nephew, Ethan Kitchen, and one great niece Grace Zerr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Shalkop Grace and Strunk Funeral Home , 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA on Saturday November 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Friends will be received on Friday, November 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Foundation www.cancer.org. The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Condolences may be offered at www.sgsfuneralhome.com.
