I came back to work and was heartbroken when I was told you passed. Just days before we had a wonderful conversation about how much you loved your children and that your wife was you high school sweetheart and love of your life. It was a pleasure to be your nurse. You made a mark on all of our hearts. We will all miss you Ed. I pray that you’re in peace now. May God rest and protect your soul. God bless you.

I will never forget the first day I met Ed. I was 16 and very sick. Heidi and Ed came to the hospital, and my first impression of Ed was that he was a sweetheart. He came over and gave me the biggest hug. His smile was always contagious, He went through so much pain, and never stopped being happy and upbeat. I know he is with all the angels now Rest easy Ed.

Eddie Bell... growing up you were like another older brother to me, you big teddy bear. All the adventures you & the boys had & having the little sister tag along for them as well. Days of playing in the woods & creeks & everything else us country kids did. Fishing,hiking,hunting,playing army, tree fort making good old country fun. All the times you played you silly pranks on Mom like.. my favorite & hers as well. You hanging squirrel tails in the house over the door jams. So she would walk into them & yell at you... EDDIE BELL.. I'm gonna get you!!! Hahaha... Now go soar free & watch over your loved ones with God by your side & let them feel you near, when they need you most. Till we all meet again. Rest in Peace... Love ya!

Ed I am going to miss you so much! Thank you for all of the memories. You were the love of my best friend's life. A wonderful dad and a great friend. It's very hard to fathom that you and I were just talking the other day. I am so happy to have been apart of you and Heidi's life. I will always cherish the days of all of us skipping school and ultimately getting caught by nanny.The times getting woken up early in the morning by Heidi because you guys had a fight and " broke up" , only to be back together by the end of the day. Heidi loved you so much as you did her. I still can't believe it. I will miss you and love you forever my friend.

I used to take uncle ed out in his wheel chair in the dead of a snow storm and get stuck in the fields. We had to call auny heidi to come and pull his chair out of the snow filled fields. We used to have so much fun. I love and miss u so much.

Big Ed was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. He was not only my brother in law, but he was also a friend. He was definitely a fighter. Fly high with the angels Ed. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, especially his wife Heidi. She stood by side, and took care of him for many years. They loved each other unconditionally.
