Obituary of Leonard K. Clemens

Leonard K. Clemens, age 61, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Reading Hospital.

 

He was born on November 1, 1958, in Phoenixville, PA to James and Paula (Jeffers) Clemens.  "Lenny" attended Springford High School where he enjoyed wrestling and football. He loved classic cars, Philadelphia sports, and the great outdoors.  He worked as a steel foreman, but he was most proud of his job as a father.

 

Leonard is survived by his brother Kurt and wife Darlene; his sister Sherry Reitnour-Consalvi and husband Wayne; his three children, Anthony and wife Kimberly,  Nicholas, and Shannon; two grandchildren, Charlotte and Christopher;  and his ex-wife Peggy Wood Clemens

 

Visitation will be held at Shalkop-Grace & Strunk Funeral Home on Monday, January 6, 2020, 6:00-8:00 PM.  A burial ceremony will take place at East Vincent Church of Christ Cemetery on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at 11:00 AM.  The burial will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Reitnour-Conlsalvi Household (537 Kemp Road, Pottstown, PA 19465) at 12:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
