I worked with Sandy for many years in the OR at Lankenau, and we kept in touch all these years. She was a warm and kind woman, and spoke of her family with the deepest love and pride. I last communicated with her the end of July, I wish we could have met somewhere to just gab, I know she is at peace.

My mother was an amazing mother, wife and grandmother. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. And I don’t wish it upon anyone. I just wish her peace and no pain and knowing that she is up there dancing with no cords and hospital stays anymore. She is surrounded by loved ones up there and here. And will always be loved so incredibly much. Mom you were my mother for 31 years and I thank you for everything you taught me and gave me in my life. You and Dad were the best parents a girl could ask for. I love you so much mom and I still want to call you every time I think of something I need to tell you. But I will just tell you now out loud and in my dreams. Thank you for being an amazing grandmother to maxwell, and I will make sure he never forgets you and how much you loved him. Thank you for being my mom. And giving me an amazing life with my family. Will forever miss you.

Sandy was such a special person. She was the BEST biology partner I could ever have had! She was so great at it and I was so terrible. She really helped me through! Our paths crossed again, later in life when my baby was delivered 11 1/2 weeks prematurely at Lankenau Hospital. The hospital sent me to another wing of the hospital away from the other new mothers. Who was there to take care of me...Sandy of course! She was such a blessing. Always so thoughtful and caring. I have always been thankful that Sandy was there for me. Such an angel!
