Jim Jewell was a family man. He was married to his wife Jarron and always a doting father to his pride and joys, his daughters , Jaeme and Jesse. Jim was brilliant, yet easy going and relaxed. He enjoyed Barbecues and a beer with friends as well a swim in the pool at Diana’s. He loved engaging in interesting and thought provoking conversations, bringing all those around him to a higher level.
Jim was a fighter, who fought for his life, as a transplant recipient. His family was the major inspiration that gave him strength. We knew the Jewell’s just prior to Jess’s adoption. As they loved Jaeme so immensely they wanted her to have a sister , a forever sister, a soul mate. We were blessed to witness the joy of Jesse’s adoption to the family . Jim adored his daughters. Jim loved reading to his girls and encouraged them to be who they are, to live life and
reach for the stars. They were the only family we knew who vacationed visiting Colleges and Universities, when the girls were just in grade school. Again, stars for the the girls. Jim enjoyed golf and shared his skills with his daughters.
Among my fondest memories was when our daughter was born and was extremely colicky, Jim was the first to hold her and rock her to sleep. A beautiful gentle soul. He will be so missed. May he Rest In Peace.
