Obituary of Kevin Assane Ba

Kevin Assane Ba of King of Prussia, PA. passed away on Tuesday Feb 2, 2021 at the age of 33 in The University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

He was born on March 21, 1987 in Manhattan Borough of New York City to the late Ndiogou Ba of Senegal, West Africa and Irene Daniels of New York, NY.

In 2001, he attended The Church Farm School, a college-preparatory and boarding school for boys where he earned and maintained honor-roll status and advanced placement in mathematics. He was able to become a cottage prefect during his time at The Church Farm School and would often volunteer as an orientation guide for incoming students needing guidance and acclamation to the school. This is a quality he kept going when he was accepted to his 1^st choice college, The Pennsylvania State University in 2005. During this time, he became a member of The Eta Kappa Nu Association, an international honor society that recognizes the achievements of electrical and computer engineers. Kevin went on to graduate from Penn State University in 2010 with bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Shortly after graduation Kevin was offered a supervisory position with ArcelorMittal, the world's leading steel and mining company, where he maintained employment for over the past decade. He was a member of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology, an organization dedicated to advancing the technical development, production, processing and application of iron and steel.

Kevin was married to Tennille Urquhart on November 4, 2018 at French Creek Golf Club in Elverson, PA. They met at Pennsylvania State University, celebrating 12 years together as of January 11, 2021.

He loved to travel and was very proud of his Jordan Retro sneaker collection. Kevin loved basketball, music and all things engineering; however, he loved his family and friends most. He had an extremely close relationship with his twin brother Kyle “Bro-hamster” Ba. Kevin is considered a true gentleman by all and has always been very loving, honest and loyal. He was a genuine and dependable soul.

Kevin is survived by his wife Tennille Urquhart, his mother Irene Daniels, his twin brother Kyle Ba, his older brother Clarence Wake, his nieces, his nephews, other family members and friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father Ndiogou Ba, his grandparents Jimmie and Irene Daniels.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 11-1:00PM on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.  A Funeral service will begin, Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM.
