Walt was one of my dearest friends and one of the most important relationships in my life. I truly love him and will miss him for the rest of my days. I know many of you have been touched by his goodness, but I don't have the words to express how much of a difference he has made in my life. To me, this picture is Walt in his truest essence. I know we shared some of the best times in our life together just fishing and hanging out, but unbeknownst to me for quite some time until I realized what was going on, God was working in my life by sending Walt to me.... please know that all of you and the family have the entirety of my heart and soul with you during this time... sending love and prayers, Joe❤❤❤

Uncle Walt,
I know our lives on earth come to an end at some point. You always think you have more time to plan and do things but God intervenes sometimes for a greater plan. What hurts is the loss left behind when God takes his children back home. The loss of a man who yes, had a stubborn side and yes had a temper at times but was the embodiment of what human compassion was. He was kind but spoke it like it was and wasn't sorry about it. He was the life of the party, the comedian and Comforter when times got tough and always there to fight along side of you. You taught me so much about life and love uncle Walt, words cannot express how much you touched my heart, my life and memories. I will never forget your rough but loving handshakes and talks outside, the fire side chats and cold beers and laughs. I love you uncle Walt and until we meet again, there's always a place at the table and in my heart for you.

Uncle Walt was a man who cared about everyone. He was quite the talker, as all Grohoski men are...lol. I will remember our small talks in Redner's, the Polish picnics and summer picnics at your house. The time and effort you and Aunt Barbara put in to make sure everyone was having a great time never went unnoticed. You were a hard worker, great father and husband. I will miss seeing you. You and dad can catch up and talk Cowboys....how bout them Cowboys!

My sorrow to the Grohoski family. I remember Walter as a neighbor growing up. He was kind and easy to talk to with always a smile on his face. He didn’t forget his Ukrainian heritage. I would see him at the church festival. May Walter be home in God’s embrace and may his memory be everlasting.

Walt my husband and best friend I surely will miss you.I will miss as you say let’s go up yonder to your favorite places and how you can talk the talk to anyone and get them laughing. The love of animals that you wish could help .You were a sunshine where there was some dark times . You always tried to beat the odds with a smile and always with positive attitude. I will miss you as you work so hard to get the pond going every spring . How you look forward being with your children and grandchildren That was when I would see when your face light up the most. Most of all taking care of me.❤️ . You worried about us and wish you could have more. I couldn’t have asked for a better husband, father for our children and friend. No one can ever take your place. You now are at a peaceful loving place which you greatly deserve.

To my Pop:
Words can’t express the love and respect I have for you. You raised me and taught me how to be a man of character and integrity. You taught me about God, disciplined me right(out of love), took me in twice when things went bad to help me get back on my feet like you did for others besides me and loved all of your grandkids equally as well as us your own kids. I thank you for all the talks we had I learned a lot and enjoyed watching the Cowboys with you(eating pizza and hoagies)especially when beating the Eagles. Thanks for helping me move in my condo and doing a great job painting my walls. Thanks for always believing in me and having words of encouragement to help me get thru. I could go on and on Dad but you know thru my actions that I love, appreciate and respect you and hope I can be that man to my son and love others as you have. Say hi to Ashley and the family for me and I hope she is showing you around your new home and know we love and miss you sooo much here. Now this part is hard for me to say right now Dad...Goodbye... I will see you again...
Love,
Your oldest son Thaddeus William (Todd)

Todd- I am sorry to hear of the passing of your dad, he was a fine man that will be sorely missed. Growing up spending so much time at your house, he always treated me kindly & when I would see him as an adult. His loss will leave a hole in your family, but you will be reunited again- trust in that. The pain never goes away, but daily living does get easier. Maybe he is hanging with my mom- playing cards or something. You & your entire family is in my prayers. Much Love- Heather Gartin

My brother was the best! No other way to describe him. He was there for you even though you did not realize you needed him. He helped me thru some difficult times and showed a love so unconditional. I miss him so much it hurts. He is in a better place watching over all of us now. A job I know he takes on with love. Rest In Peace Walter and know you will never be forgotten. Until we meet again I love you! Your little sister MaryAnn
