One of my favorite memories of Bruce is one Saturday night when Bruce and Brian were visiting our house in Trooper. Steve was hunting (there were many such Saturday nights). I found what I thought was a mouse in the house and was quite upset. I asked Bruce to help, and showed Bruce the "mouse". Bruce looked at me as only he could and said - "Gina, that's not a mouse; it's a bat on the wall." He told me to give him a rag, which I did, and he took the rag and just squeezed the bat from the wall as it was shrieking and squirming. He tossed the bat outside from the garage and said okay, let's order dinner from Gino's now. It didn't even phase him. We laughed until there were tears. Thank you Bruce for this joyful memory, and there are many more.
