Jon and I had many things in common in that we liked sports, liked to hunt and fish, and while living at the William Penn Villas during his last abode we attended many of the same functions including pot luck sessions, Thursday poker and then there was bocce.
Jon is a good friend and will always be remembered as one great guy with a wonderful smile. I liked Jon a lot and feel blessed to have been part of his life. Sorry I couldn't make it to the viewing but he will surely be remembered and missed..

Dear Sandy, Amy and Lars, Diane and Bob , Janet and Ted, Beth and grand children,
John and I are so very sorry to hear of Jon's passing! What a guy! He had so many leadership roles at SCUMC and was always there no matter what had to be done! Sandy and John were the epitome of a happy couple! He was a great Dad to his girls! I will never forget his love for my Mom's cherry pies. If she baked for a church function, Jon always had to save some of her pie for himself! Jon will be sorely missed by many, many people.
In deepest sympathy and love,
Sandy and John

Jon was a patriarch, father figure of our church and we respected him immensely. He will be sadly missed. We will fondly remember all the good times at church with Jon and appreciate everything he did for the church and others in his lifetime. He wore many hats in his lifetime. I am sure Jesus welcomed Jon with open arms. Our deepest sympathies Sandy and family. Wendy and Barry

Sandy, his wife and Jon had a marriage that was a good example to all of us! They raised their two daughters, Diane and Amy, with love and caring. May they be consoled knowing he loved them and wanted them to be happy and that he was there for them.
